KATMARIEXX Born Kathryn Marie, an Original Singer & Songwriter raised in California. Discovered her love of singing as a child performing in school plays, talent shows and show choirs throughout her youth. Kat wrote her first song “Fire” with her longtime friend and Music Producer, Joe Crotty, in early January 2019. A true songwriter, KATMARIEXX writes her own lyrics and Melodies with all Orginal Scores composed by Joe Crotty.

KATMARIEXX is inspired by No Doubt, Garbage, The Cure, The Cardigans, Madonna and Lana Del Rey. A lover of 80’s and 90’s Music culture and endlessly empowered by great female led bands. KATMARIEXX hopes to bring a touch of nostalgia with honest records to help you escape.
Her sound comes from 80’s and 90’s music culture infused with today’s Electronic Pop rhythms. Her Sultry voice and escapism lyrics take you along with her on her musical journey. She creates female empowered music for the Next generation of girls to sing along to.

A true artist is one who gives an authentic insight into their mind and one who gives back to the cultures it’s gained so much from. Without Music Education in Schools, KATMARIEXX would have never found her voice. Music Saves lives and 15% of every song purchased goes to various Non Profit Charities that support Music Education.
