Static King is a stoner rock band born in France, in Paris area, founded in 2014 by two friends from highschool. They also founded their own label Sebastopol Records, that helps them to publish and distribute their music, and also to find gigs. The trio (they play with a drummer) creates sonic sounds of bass and guitar on top of which they set their melodies. Their influences are Nick Cave, Sparklehorse, BRMC, The Verve or Pixies.
They directed a music video in Sept. 2017 in L.A. with an actor from the Twin Peaks series – Harry Goaz. It was released in March 2018 on youtube:
